Early Childhood Programs

The Covered Bridge Special Education District works closely with participating school districts to provide special education services for children ages 3 through 5 as required by State and Federal regulations. Opportunities to receive a free and appropriate public education (FAPE) are provided through developmental preschool classes, language development classes, speech therapy, and consultation to general education preschool programs. Program placement is determined by each child's case conference committee which includes parents, teachers, an administrator, and at least one evaluation team member.
